When the DVD boots and you select the Solaris Express Developer Edition, you 
should see a menu, instead select desktop console mode instead GUI. static IP 
vs dhcp depending on where or not you use a dhcp enabled router, 
after the system is loaded from the dvd, and it reboots log into root and if 
your not on the internet insert a usb memory disk, and save the output of the 
following commends to the /media subdirectory of your mounted UDB mem stick. 
and post the info with the attach files button.
uname -a ; cat /etc/release ; /usr/X11/bin/scanpci -v ; prtconf -pv ; prtdiag
