Oh yeah, try moving your USB accessories to different ports if you need them during the install. It sounds illogical, but I've seen current products from Lenovo (Thinkpads) and Dell consistently boot from one USB port, but not another--if you're using a USB CD/DVD or flash.
Also, I've also experienced with Dell computers that they can even be picky about which USB ports have the keyboard & mouse connected. I've seen this more with Solaris than OpenSolaris. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
