Solaris 10 won't support the ethernet on this board, and Broadcom doesn't have a Solaris driver for it.
The USB version is the one that WON'T work. Did you check your BIOS to make sure RAID is turned off, then boot from a CD or DVD? In fact, I'd even try both (burn LiveCD to a CD and to a DVD). Some Dell DVD drives are a bit picky and definitely behave oddly under *Solaris. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
