[osol-help] Blade 1000 install, CD fails to boot

I just had a quick look at the first pages of the guide. 
Does this mean that I must have opensolaris install on an x86 box before I can 
install it on a sparc? What if I do not have one? Is there any way to install 
from CD or DVD? Or to upgrade from a different version of Solaris Sparc?
