The new installer in OpenSolaris 200X-MM may offer fewer options (though with a 
prettier presentation) than the older Solaris and SXCE installers. But 
generally, it should put grub where you tell it.

I think so (though I've never tried multbooting OpenSolaris).

This is possible, but more difficult. My old home PC uses SXCE grub top boot 
everything on it, including Fedora 10 directly (not chain booting).
