Hello, I'm looking for a solution to run opensolaris from a usb stick. I know there exist a few distributions that do this but they're using a ramdisk system like the livecd.
What I'm trying to find is a system that is uncompressed on the usb disk so I can apply changes to it on the fly. I want the changes to be preserved after a reboot. (ultimately, I'm trying to get the opensolaris running on a disk-on-module that I'll use in a nas device) Can somebody point me in the right direction please?
