I understand that the Fault Management Service can report via SNMP. Perhaps there's a suitable gnome SNMP agent that you can adapt to your needs (perhaps here <link>http://www.gxsnmp.org</link>).
I tend to rely on e-mail for this sort of thing: I monitor my e-mail regularly and I can look at it remotely (after all, thing can go wrong even while you're away from the console). My use of Open Solaris is as a server rather than a desktop. Ben. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
