Correct.

Build snv_116 includes "ntfsprog"; you could try to
update your 2009.06 (build 111) to the current
development release to get the ntfsprog utilities:

Is that from the grub boot menu to the gdm login screen?
Or does it include the time to start the gnome desktop.

2 minutes seems a bit too much from grub to the
gdm login screen.

Check the service start times in "svcs -a" output.
Any big delays?

And check the timestamps in /var/adm/messages,
starting from the "SunOS Release 5.11 Version ..." line.

The P-ATA driver tries to identify some P-ATA HDD
or ATAPI device (ata_id_common()), but the device
doesn't return identification information but signals
a BUSY condition all the time.  This seems to result
in a 7 second timeout / boot delay on your system,
it seems...
