Hi, ether.pt,
I booted back to OS, and tried to issue this, and got:
igor at opensolaris:~$ pfexec zpool import
  pool: solaris
    id: 9572975698201532745
state: UNAVAIL
status: One or more devices contains corrupted data.
action: The pool cannot be imported due to damaged devices or data.
   see: http://www.sun.com/msg/ZFS-8000-5E
config:

        solaris UNAVAIL insufficient replicas
          c8d1s2 UNAVAIL corrupted data
To my surprise "corrupted data" on the OS partition, but nevertheless was able
to boot.

What I'm thinking is that somehow when I issue "zpool" command it works with
the current active pool, which is "solaris" (AFAIU, it's a pool where the
Solaris grub located), and I need somehow to work with the second pool -
hdd2/c8d1s (AFAIU, where the actual data is located).
However, there is no "zpool" command I can use to switch between them.

Or maybe I'm wrong in my assumption?

Could you clarify, please?

Thank you.
