I'm trying to run S10U2 in a VM to see if it suffers the same problem that recent Nevada builds do - namely that the time-of-day clock in the VM fails causing Solaris to keep resetting the date/time to 1 Jan 1970 00:00:00 causing things to break quite badly.
The problem is that I always run my VMs in 64-bit mode and after installing in 32-bit mode, the VM then attempted to boot in 64-bit mode which failed since it handn't build a boot archive for 64-bit mode. How can I manually build a boot archive for AMD64 while running in 32-bit mode? Thanks Andrew. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
