At this time there isn't any support for creating an OpenSolaris usb stick on any platform other than OpenSolaris. You could always install VirtualBox and try OpenSolaris inside of that. And if you like it, you could create the usb stick from that environment (tedious, but the only solution at the moment). Cheers, Glenn
