Hello, I'm in trouble after having upgraded to b99. GDM won't start with this message :
ines gdm-binary[19683]: [ID 702911 daemon.warning] WARNING: The display server has been shut down about 6 times in the last 90 seconds. It is likely that something bad is going on. Waiting for 2 minutes before trying again on display :0. I've read that NVDAgraphics could be the problem and hence I followed the trick of uninstall / reinstall without success... (I've a GeForce 6200) uname -a gives SunOS ines 5.11 snv_99 i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris When running Xorg alone I've this : Solaris ABI: 32-bit SUNWxorg-server package version: 6.9.0.5.11.8700,REV=0.2008.03.25 SUNWxorg-graphics-ddx package version: 6.9.0.5.11.8701,REV=0.2008.04.22 SUNWxorg-mesa package version: 6.9.0.5.11.8800,REV=0.2008.04.08 But when enabling gdm, the screen pass from blank to the console and sometimes the NVIDIA LOGO appears... Any suggestion ? B98 is working fine... -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
