Heya, Been using remote desktop for a while with OS and gnome, all been fine. However once I realized it was running without a password I got worried, so set about installing one. Now my remote desktop appears to have stopped working, doh! Vnc clients on both windows and osx seem to not get a response.
What would be the best way to get my remote desktop back to its default settings? I've been twiddling a bit with gconftool-2, so I'm sure its largely settings in my .gnome dir that need clensing; however if I delete the remote-desktop stuff, it gets recreated when I do a 'gdm-restart', with the same mysterious password information that I thought I'd deleted.
