It's a OpenSolaris problem I tested it and this is funny ... the ftp server ...
Fedora core on a what 600MHZ cpu ... to a Win XP laptop Pentium 4 single core
21 meg file in 7 seconds or so ... Same ftp server and OpenSolaris SunOS
opensolaris 5.11 snv_101a i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris get this on a Dual Core AMD
Opteron(tm) Processor 180 at clock 2585 MHz I think Solaris has a problem ... I
mean really I boot the same PC up on Windows XP SP2 and see 2 CPU's .. and
under OpenSolaris it tells me one cpu online ... and the slow net connection
... I think it's not ready for prime time ... I could sell the hell out this if
I can make this work at home .... think about it ... I have a Windows XP PC
and a Linux PC The only Sun had that work was a SUNPCI card but only worked on
a Ultra system ... trust me I beta tested it .... but that was then now virt
machines but doesn't work if you can't get the dual core cpu's correct
