One more question if I may.... Old Linux hat of almost 10 years, has switched to OS (me).
I have 2TB of storage, divided up in 4 physical hard drives. My data is on the 3 drives that are formatted in XFS. Naturally, being a new convert to OS....I need to move this data, add the drive to the pool, go ZFS, then put the data back. Can anyone help me with a roadmap to do this besides booting into my Gentoo Live CD, farting around getting zfs-fuse to work, then playing the move game..... It's really going to be painful for me if this is the only method... I have a spare 500GB SATA and more sata ports on my MB if this sparks any ideas. Again, thanks for the help in making the switch from Linux and cutting my OS teeth. Dave -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
