I can only find vlc in one repository, and it is an antique. SunFreeware and Blastwave don't have them. There is one site in Japan that has a version, but I'd just as soon compile it than try to understand a foreign language. Am I missing a repository that I should be looking at? If not, what are the differences between compiling in Linux (my former home for a number of years), and OS? I'd like to avoid gotchas if anyone else has stepped in them! I appreciate your help!
