Hey dcbdis, don't know if you saw this or not, but there's a problem that will
cause you to lose grub when you upgrade from build 86 to a build later than
build 89 due to changes that happen when the ZFS file system is updated if you
don't follow these procedures at this link below:

http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/opensolaris-announce/2008-June/001849.html

Hopefully you'll see this post and acknowledge it (because I think that might
be what's giving you problems). If not I'll repost it again in another one of
your threads in the hope that you see it.

Also read the release notes here:

http://opensolaris.org/os/project/indiana/resources/relnotes/200805/x86/

Just out of habit, I think it's always also a good idea to run these commmands:

    $ pfexec pkg refresh
    $ pfexec pkg install SUNWipkg at 0.5.11-0.86
    $ pfexec pkg install entire at 0.5.11-0.86
    $ pfexec pkg install SUNWipkg-gui

on a fresh install (as described in the release notes) to freshen up and patch
up the package management system even though I think this bug was fixed in the
dash one update. If you're using a build later than 86, just replace the 86
with the build number, so for build 99 you could type in:

    $ pfexec pkg refresh
    $ pfexec pkg install SUNWipkg at 0.5.11-0.99
    $ pfexec pkg install entire at 0.5.11-0.99
