Sorry, I don't have SuSE Linux nearly at the present time. You can also try the following workaround, which will not affect document importation: 1. Open OOo 3.0 2. Go to options -> view , uncheck "use system font user interface", see attached screenshot funix1.png 3. Go to options -> table, do the font replacement as shown in the attached screenshot funix2.png You will see that the font display problem also disappears. This workaround was originally suggested by one of Sun's developers (but was dismissed by Herbert, who suggested that there should be a better way).
