Login in the comsole text login , then make a backup copy of /var/log/Xorg.0.log file and backup /var/tmp /[A-z]* sub directories and files and then run: /etc/init.d/dtlogin stop rm /var/tmp/WS* rm /var/tmp/orbit-root/* rm -r .[A-z]* /etc/init.d/dtlogin start ; exit log back in, if your mouse goes away after X-server starts back up then submit a bugid/rfe http://www.opensolaris.org/bug/report.jspa for mouse cursor missing after X-server restarts issue
if the above does not work at all try: /etc/init.d/dtlogin stop kdmconfig -u /usr/X11/bin/xorgconfig /etc/init.d/dtlogin start ; exit submit a bugid RFE (see above URL) to request support Biostar with your backup copy of following output of : cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log uname -a prtdiag -v /usr/X11/bin/scanpci prtconf -Dpv /var/log/Xorg.0.log and the backup copy. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
