Yeah, I know I could use the board as a Linux machine, but then I'd lose ZFS/z2 and a decent NFS4 server, which would sort of defeat half the purpose of why I want to make a new file server; decent media conversion speeds being the other half of the reason.
Other than buying a Sun machine, can anyone recomend a motherboard that supports dual-AMD and a ton of SATA ports? I'd definitely go for the Sun machine if I could, but that's a bit outside my budget... This message posted from opensolaris.org
