I don't know why anyone would want to run OpenSolaris in vmware. It seems like running it as a guest OS would negate all the speed and file-system incorruptability issues that you get from ZFS.
Personally, I'd prefer to run VMware ESX as a guest OS in VirtualBox under OpenSolaris. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
