I am trying to get the most out of my LAN and at the moment the figures are with SMB/CIFS and FTP between Windows XP and Solaris about 20-25 MB/s. I have increased MTU value to 7000 on the NIC and also tweaked tcp values to the following:
set ndd:tcp_wscale_always=1 set ndd:tcp_tstamp_if_wscale=1 set ndd:tcp_max_buf=16777216 set ndd:tcp_cwnd_max=8388608 set ndd:tcp_xmit_hiwat=1048576 set ndd:tcp_recv_hiwat=1048576 I have a MB integrated Realtek NIC using rge driver in Opensolaris 2008.11 So can anyone help me improve these figures if possible? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
