[osol-help] Compiz will not work on opensolaris 2008.11 with ATI X300 video

Can you check to see if Compiz works with this graphics card in Linux?

Unfortunately, if Compiz doesn't work with this card in a massively popular 
Linux distribution (think Ubuntu or Fedora Core) then it almost definitely 
won't work in BSD or Solaris because BSD and Solaris Compiz development seems 
to lag a little bit behind Linux Compiz development in terms of hardware 
support (probably because most of the main Compiz developers are Linux guys).
