Compiz doesn't support or not support specific hardware - it relies on
the OS & drivers to provide that support.   OpenSolaris & Solaris only
provide the required level of OpenGL acceleration for graphics from
nvidia (all chipsets supported by one of the nvidia accelerated drivers,
either bundled with the OS or downloaded from nvidia.com), Intel
(i915 and newer chipsets supported by the Solaris port of DRI), and
ATI (a very limited set of Radeon cards supported by the Solaris port
of DRI - only the X700 by default, though others may be manually
enabled).
