I have 2 questions regarding Solaris Express build 69 (x86 - 64-bit): 1. I downloaded the DVD iso for Solaris Express Community Edition, however when I booted the CD to install I had the option of 'Solaris Express Developer Edition' and 'Solaris Express'. I chose the developer option.
Is there a difference? - as I thought it was the community edition I downloaded. 2. After I installed the above, I can login to JDS fine, but it doesn't mount USB mass storage devices when plugged in. I have checked hal, dbus, etc. is loaded, but nothing happens. I do get notification in dmesg that it has seen something plugged in. In Solaris 10, this works out of the box, all USB mass storage devices are instantly mounted. Do I need to do something? is it because I installed the developer option? Thanks for any help. This message posted from opensolaris.org
