Yes, I have looked under /mnt and /media, but nothing gets mounted.

'svcs hal dbus rmvolmgr' shows they are all online.

Correct me if I'm wrong, as I'm not a Solaris expert, but from what I've read
Solaris 10 uses vold for device mounting, where as in newer builds of Solaris
Express (nevada) which is the upcoming release 11?, vold has been deprecated
and hal is used instead. Also I cannot find vold on the system.

I dual-boot this machine (64-bit AMD) with Linux and Windows XP and all my USB
sticks, external hard drives, Media card readers, etc. work fine, so there is
no problem with the USB ports; and besides Solaris recognises that I've plugged
it in, it just doesn't mount them.

I just can't make it out, as Solaris 10 release mounts all my devices
flawlessly, albeit thats on another computer which is an AMD 32-bit machine.

Thanks.
