I just switched from Solaris 10 to OpenSolaris 2008/11 so this is most
likely a newbee question ...

All nice got it working on one screen. BUT - how to I configure my
nvidia card ? When I start System->Preferences->NVidia X Server
Settings I get "You do not appear to be using NVIDIA X driver" and the
System->Preferences->Screen Resolution app dose not recognize the
second screen.

Trying to use the nvidia-xconfig to create a xorg.conf will make the
system not start in X anymore and the only way is to ssh into it form
a other box and delete the xorg.conf file and restart.

So I wonder

1) Is OpenSolaris by default using Xorg ? And why is is not starting
even with the the nvidia-xconfig generated xorg.conf ?
2) How I shall get this baby running with my 2 old CTR screens for
which I have a working xorg.conf file ?
3) The idea is of course I want to install the new 180.29 driver from
Nvidia - but even after pkg uninstall NVDAgraphics it does not look to
use it ... hmmm

Thanx for any hint
B-)
