Ok this worked and it is really interesting as I get GRUB twice!! The Linux version resides in the MBR while Sun's version sits in the PTR (partition boot register) therefore chain loading hd(1,0) loads the second GRUB - that's really cool as I prefer the look graphically of Sun GRUB anyway.
Too bad the BeleniX ext2fs project is read only I tested it in my laptop already and it won't let me write to ext2/3 :-( that would've been nice as I could've used a common ext3 home dir for my 3 OS's. Not to worry though the system rocks! ...and I like my desktop again :-) -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
