Hello, Here's the situation: I have Opensolaris 2009.06 with X11 forwarding enabled. From my mac I open a terminal, open the ssh -X session, and open an application, for example, firefox. Everything works to this point. I can click around, whatever, no issues.
BUT when I start typing anything into the X11 app the keyboard mapping is incorrect. For instance, if I type the M key, I get a C on screen. When I type an H I get a 3 on screen. No keys are mapped correctly. Anyone have any ideas? I cannot get VNC working plus I'd rather just use X11, I prefer it over VNC. I have had this working when connecting to an Ubuntu server, and even older versions of OpenSolaris. Thanks. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
