Cheers for this Gary. Maxwell seems to be the way to go then, which is an opinion commonly shared it seems. They are more difficult to get these days though. How does an external disk box reduce the cost of a NAS?
Regarding the motherboard, if one adds the requirement to use EEC RAM so that data integrity is guaranteed along the data path, choosing a suitable motherboard seems even more difficult. Again, any comment most welcome. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
