I would advise against simply physically replacing each old disk with the new
disk, with a resilver in between. While this will work, it will also leave your
data exposed to data loss since the pool will have no redundancy after the old
disk is disconnected. Instead, install one of the new disks, then use the zpool
replace command. The mirror will be rebuilt onto the new disk while the old
disk continues to provide the data redundancy. Once the rebuild is done, ZFS
will remove the old disk from the pool and attach the new one. Then do the same
with the second new disk, replacing the second old disk.
