Just installed SXDE 01/08 on a new SunFire X4450 attached to a SST 2530. Having
upgraded the SST 2530 firmware and created three LUNS I have problems accessing
the LUNS from the X4450. I'm not using MPXIO; just have one path between the
data host and array. In format, I try to access a couple of the SST 2530 LUNS
and get the error:
"Error: can't open selected device /dev/rdsk/c2t0d1p0". It's viewable but I
can't do any autoconfiguration of the LUN, write labels or fdisk it. The SST
2530 shows the pool its in as readable and writable. Is this an MPT bug. I've
got a Sun supplied LSI1068 HBA installed. Is this a BIOS issue? Should I
downgrade to Solaris 10 which I can patch? Does the mpt.conf file need
changing? Please anybody help me here?
