Ok , lets try to sort this one out......
You state that you have downloaded Solaris 10.
You also say that you do not have any bootable CD's
this seems like a contradiction.
You can only download Solaris 10 in CD or DVD format.
When you burn these to CD/DVD media they are indeed bootable.
are you saying that you have downloaded the MEDIA files but not trensferred
them
to CD/DVD discs ?
and that you want to install from the image files ? ( If anyone knows
how to do that pleas help the OP . )
On A SPARC server you can boot from the ETHERNET from a boot server.
But on a X86 machine you need to boot from CD,DVD or Floppy.
you can boot and install INDIANA from a USB stick
