Hey I looked about the forums, and couldn't find an answer to this so I'm just gonna spit out what i'm having trouble with.
I just freshly installed OpenSolaris, and I'm not the most skilled at UNIX machines, (I have learned Ubuntu Linux enough to run it with little trouble) but I have already hit a road block. While attempting install flash player, I have discovered that I do not have permission to copy the two needed files to the firefox plugin folder. I attempted to log as root, and after some reading found out I really can't do that without jumping through some hoops, and now have to just accept that I do not know how to convince my computer that I own it, so it will allow me to copy some files.
