Hi, I have a Sun Ultra 20 PC with 2 x 400GB HDD setup as a ZFS mirror at root. I'm running a version of opensolaris that I downloaded about 2 weeks ago.
All went well until I added the 2nd disk to the zpool to make the mirror. Problem now is that on boot neither of the disks are reported by the BIOS, so the system hangs, as would be expected as there is no boot device visible. If I pull the 2nd disk out slightly the BIOS shows the 1st disk OK. Shoving the 2nd disk in after the BIOS messages have finished, and before GRUB appears, allows the OS to boot. Once booted both disks and ZFS show as OK. It looks to me like a ZFS boot issue, but I'm a DBMS guy not an OS guy.
