I tried to load the OOS on my Compaq TC100 Tablet PC. It starts to load from the cd rom fine. Gives me the menu to boot to oos with gui, boot with command prompt or boot from the hard disk. I select the gui option to see if it will run from the cd and see if it finds my hdw etc.
It gets as far as first 3 or 4 lines in the license agreement then the cd stop spinning and it just sits there. I tried it several time and even let it sit for around an hour. Nothing happened. Any thoughts on why it would hang here? as a side not I dont expect it to have the tablet pc funtions. I just want to load the os as I dont use it like a tablet but a traveling system for quick internet access and the XP just is not cutting it. CJ This message posted from opensolaris.org
