Hey, Thanks for the responses!
The main (actually only) way I meddle with partitions is with either Acronis or Partition Magic from Hiren Boot CD, Acronis offers the option for setting a partition (in)active. Ether, I've never done that, oops. By the way, bellow is what my /etc/vfstab currently reads. So if I have to do what you're saying I'll have to type in fdisk /dev/rdsk/c3d0s0, is that correct? And this is my menu.lst: http://ireylo.free.fr/menu_lst.txt, if I install XP on the third partition of the second hdd I should get rid of everything after the last 'END BOOTADM' and add: title Windows XP chainloader (hd1,2)+1 Am I correct? ------------------------------- /etc/vfstab: #device device mount FS fsck mount mount #to mount to fsck point type pass at boot options # fd - /dev/fd fd - no - /proc - /proc proc - no - /dev/dsk/c3d0s1 - - swap - no - /dev/dsk/c3d0s0 /dev/rdsk/c3d0s0 / ufs 1 no - /dev/dsk/c3d0s7 /dev/rdsk/c3d0s7 /export/home ufs 2 yes - /dev/dsk/c3d0s4 /dev/rdsk/c3d0s4 /second_root ufs 2 yes - /devices - /devices devfs - no - sharefs - /etc/dfs/sharetab sharefs - no - ctfs - /system/contract ctfs - no - objfs - /system/object objfs - no - swap - /tmp tmpfs - yes - This message posted from opensolaris.org
