Hi all,

i am thinking about making Opensolaris my main laptop OS (without Ubuntu 7.10
and Vista Ultimate) but have some questions before i do:

*) one feature i Really Need for my laptop is PPTP vpn. I need to connect to a
VPN server at work but when i ran SXCE72 i was not able to get it working, is
it possible at all to connect to a pptp vpn server from solaris?

*) i am wondering what would be the better road to take, should I download an
run Opensolaris Indiana or SXCE75/76/77, or will they be available at all when
indiana is released? How does indiana compare to SXCE and will it include the
same polish/jds/packages/staroffice/etc. SXCE does currently? The idea of a
package manager is really tempting for me, that is the one feature i am missing
in SXCE.

*) wil indiana have binary nvidia drivers (and compiz fusion 0.6 as well)?

*) do things like hibernate/resume/laptop hot keys/laptop stuff in general work
properly in OpenSolaris (i have a dell precision m65 laptop).

*) is the SXCE x86 edition mainly 32bits, 64bits or both?

i hope you can help,
thanks a lot.

stefan
