Ok, just a wierd idea. Keep a su session open (su -). Then use GUI to add the removable devices profile. Of course it'd nuke everything else but you'd get the setting in /etc/user_attr.
Then using the above open session, merge old with new, then logout and login back and hope it goes well ;-) -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
