hi all, i was encouraged by the previous sun OS offering as it worked well on all of my PCs, laptops etc. So with eagerness i d/l and install 2008.11
it takess over an hour to install and is so slow or wont even run so its found its way to the pile of "tried distros/OSs" ...so im back to OpenSuse which runs fine on everything ive got- including on 2 x eeepc s. I was hoping to adopt this as my preferred OS as i see it as being removed from other political and social encumbrances... is the word that 2gb is a minimum to get this to run?- is that the story? or is there hope? cheers, tim -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
