I downloaded snv_b105 and attempted to boot off of the dvd and is sat at a blinking cursor right after the following.

When booting with the -kv option it stops at a blinking cursor after.... Start to prepare identity map for rmrr I didn't boot with -kd, but this is the same spot it stops with 2008.11 booting with -kv, so it wouldn't surprise me if it also didn't get stuck in the loop in rootnex`dmar_flush_context_cache .
