AVS is comapatible, somewhat. However, there are limitations AVS must be configured to use a /dev/cxtxdxsx. If you are using ZFS, AVS will only support a mirrored configuration and the drives must have a /dev path. No Raid-5/Z or pools
About 4 months ago, I've worked around this issue by using the iscsi target and initiator on the same system and used the disk /dev from the iscsi initiator. There is a performance degradation, but it does work if your in a pinch. .-g -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
