Well it seems to be the case... :)
I routinely build Slicer3D (www.slicer.org) for Solaris, and some of the 
"support libraries" use cvs.
We also have a dashboard for the builds:
http://www.cdash.org/CDash/index.php?project=Slicer3
and if I forget to copy the "old" cvs to the new BE, my builds disappear from 
there after every upgrade.

No, have not yet filed a bug report, because first I wanted to know if other 
have this issue, but will do definitely!
