In my fourth paragraph I notice that I lost some words in editing.  What I 
intended to express was that if your motherboard does not support fiddling with 
the clock speed, perhaps you can fiddle with the memory timing parameters in 
terms of clock cycles.  Set it to "Manual" instead of "By SPD."
