Consult the manpage for 'dumpadm' to see about setting up a dump device for your machine. Also look into 'scat', the Solaris cat tool, which is a really nice tool for looking at dumps.
You should also enable savecore (I think with dumpadm?) so that if your machine panics, it will dump to the dump device you configure, then build a core file from the dump after you reboot.
