I have same problem too... in my laptop i.e. Compaq V6211 AU having AMD turion
64 X2 dual core processor, 2GB RAM, and nvidia motherboard... i could not able
to boot from live CD of 2008.11 in any mode... However live CD of 2008.05 works
well ..but there are having three(3) drivers problem:
1. nVidia corporation MCP51 high defination audio driver problem
2. Broadcom corporation BCM4312 802.11 a/b/g wireless driver problem
3. ACPI AC device problem
can anyone have suggestions?? thanks in advance...
