You do have the option of installing SUNWman from sol-nv-b96-x86-dvd.iso, the 
install image
for Solaris Express.  AFAIK the executables accept the same options but YMMV.

Since I normally have at least one system running Solaris Express the lack of 
man pages hasn?t
bothered me.

I thought the fonts problem had been solved for the moment and that an upcoming 
release of OpenSolaris packages would have the fix in place.

I would hazard the guess that getting a properly functional operating system 
would have the
higher priority.  Migrating a wholly proprietary operating system to freely 
distributable open
source is a severe challenge if the open source OS is to function in a manner 
similar to its
parent.
