Thanks the sound driver package you recommended actually brought sound to a PC barren of it for months. :-)
But as they say satisfaction is but short-lived because it cannibalizes itself. ;-) Is there any way to install the mp3, mpeg and other such audio plugins remotely? or are they conveniently available on some site?
