I see the same sort of warnings on vbox-2.0.2 hosted on x64-darwin-9.5.0 for I assume that the vbox enviroment doesn't support changing the [microcode][] loaded into the CPU (the part of the CPU that is actually programmable) at this point. Presumably OpenSolaris compensates, but it would be interesting to hear from a more technical OpenSolaris developer what the performance/security implications might be.
