Hi Al,, Currently I use Windows for web serving and e-mail serving. I have used Linux in the past.
I would like to try open solaris for web serving and e-mail serving. What is the best approach? I would like to do so without a GUI. I am using M$ Virtual Server 2005 SP1 and currently have web serving and e-mail serving in a separate VM. I am using the M$ product because VMWare does not yet allow VM's to start on system bootup with their VMWare server product. The Host OS is a Windows XP as that is what has worked best for me with the current hardware in the past. O am using Apache already so that should be an easy transition. Not sure about e-mail, how do I do this? right now I am using hMaiServer because it is easy. Can anyone give me advice on how to proceed. Thanks! -Jason
